Memberships

 

The University of Maryland Golf Course offers a variety of yearly membership plans:

 

Full 7-Day Membership ($2000)

  • -Make tee times 2 weeks in advance, ahead of the public
  • -Never pay green fees
  • -Cart fee is $8 for 9 holes, $15 for 18 holes**
  • -10% discount on most pro shop merchandise
  • -$10 off USGA handicap service
  • -Discounts on special club sponsored events
  • -Add a spouse or dependent for $1000

 

5-Day Weekday Membership ($1575)
  • -Never pay green fees Monday - Friday
  • -Pay the student rate on Saturday and Sunday
  • -Cart fee is $8 for 9 holes, $15 for 18 holes**
  • -All other benefits are the same as full membership
  • -Add a spouse or dependent for $788

 

UMCP Full-Time Faculty/Staff

Full-time faculty and staff of the University of Maryland (College Park campus only) may purchase memberships at a special rate.  There is also the option to have the membership fee automatically deducted from your paycheck each week.
  • 7-Day ($1550, $2325 w/spouse or dependent)
  • 5-Day ($1225, $1688 w/spouse or dependent)

 

Other Services
  • -Bag storage ($50/year)
  • -Locker rental ($20/year)
  • -USGA handicap service ($15/year for members)

 

All memberships are offered on an annual basis from March 1 to February 28.  The membership fee is prorated if membership begins after May 1.  UMCP students may purchase semester memberships that begin on the first day of classes and end on the last day of exams.  Semester memberships must be paid in full.  Please see the Golf Shop for details on student memberships.

 

Members of the University Golf Course receive advanced tee time reservations, discount on the purchase of selected merchandise, member tournament program, USGA handicap service, discounts for club sponsored functions such as Breakfast with Santa and Mothers Day brunch, and many other benefits.

 

All members who are not members of the University of Maryland Alumni Association, Terrapin Club, or M-Club, must make a contribution of at least $50 to the Maryland Tee to Green foundation, which goes toward capital improvements to the Golf Course.
